The Web Tycoon is a project aimed to help  entrepreneurs to reach success. My approach is wider than in the typical website or blog about Internet Marketing or partof it (affiliation , Social media marketing, Search engine optimization…)

The domain www.the-web-tycoon.com is a guide with three  main  blocks:

Stuff Selling Entrepreneur:Is the part of  Internet Marketing,which at the same time is divided into several fields. Some of them you should have heard about: SEO,SEM,SMM… In other words, usage of Twitter, facebook,Google and many other, all in the same website.

You may also noticed that there is also a blog, a wordpress one. This is very important to support a static website and connect easier with people.

About Me: I studied Business and Administration In the Autonomous University of Barcelona(Spain)., But I’m Internet Marketer and Blogger.More than  being the author of The Web Tycoon I also created an Spanish Website  named El Magnate De Internet , and collaborate with some other projects like Renovat (Technology blog) And Bloc de Daniel Costas. I am also open to further collaboration with people and my favourite subjects in Internet Marketing are Search Engine Optimization, Search engine Marketing ,  Social media Marketing an Affiliation.

I do not like Shady Affiliation because I believe that in the best of the cases, is a non-sense. But i understand that people often begin in Internet business after watching one of these videos showing money, cars houses and happy people.  I am committed to help these confused people to find the right path and don’t waste their time with false gurus  believing  be creating an alternative economy.

I also say that Internet Is like a Goldmine, and this is true.  You can promote  what you want to milions of persons, but you need the Tools.  Gurus of Shady Affiliation use some of these tools to promote their pyramid schemes, making people feel like doing business in the Internet. This people will end  feeling scammed or jump to the true affiliation and begin a serious career.  And I say thereis also serious affiliation, because  isn’t the same a chain of donations than selling real products or generating ads. The serious Internet Marketing is a shape of the economy, just like supermarkets or TV;  the shady affiliation doesn’t pay.

Maybe, instead of creating a new business, you need to relaunch a existing one. It isn’t a secret that mobile phone dealers and travel agencies are very angry because Internet is eating up  their market share  (money comes from somewhere). Many business must chose amongst try to stop the proliferation of Internet Marketing (Which is an error) or don’t lose the train.  This fact makes possible the affiliate teams and the SEO engineers; who paradoxically, make it very expensive for a business  e to catch the train and don’t lose it ( and can also be scammed).

Why a businessman need to know which are the tools of such immense Goldmine? just because a false consultant  can be even worse than a false Internet Guru. To promote a brick-and-stone business you can work your brand using social media, have a website to sell your products with or without an affiliate team…and you will find a lot of problems and changes of being scammed: A reputed SEO is too expensive and a bad one can seriously hurt your business, a bad Social Media Campaign can hurt your image, an Affiliation company is too expensive and managing a team for your own is very complex, etc,etc,etc…
